I've not looked into what off set or wheel width that fits the GT86 yet. not had it for a week yet. I know it's 17" thinking more than likely 7" width of the top of my head.

But looking at a spare set of wheels so I can fit winter tyres to the car when it gets below 5 degrees.

I like the look of the Rota wheels GTR style of wheels. Any suggestions on what may look nice on the GT86?

Rotas are nice but fairly over-played. I've got them on my 200SX and I've seen a fair few sets on GT86's now.

What about XXR? I'd say the model '527' would look good. But also depends on what size of wheel you go for and ride height differences etc etc!

I like the way the center of the wheels come out and the simple design.

I'm not looking for anything much larger than standard. Only going to have winter tyres on there for now

If you have a side shot of your car, use one of the virtual garages to fit some options.
I use rarerims site and still undecided: CLICK.

If you're short of a side on image, use one of mine from September 2012: CLICK.

Personally I can't stand Rotas and think they are simply cheap knockoffs of good wheels. Can't really say much about XXR but again they seem too cheap to.

I've seen a couple of GT86 on OZ Ultraleggeras/ Superleggeros and a few with BBS CH/LM which all look far better than the factory wheels.

Litchfield used TSW Nurburgring wheels, 18".

Look rather tasty to me!

But otherwise I'd go with a O.Z set, from the racing range.

I'm not looking for too fancy and Why I liked the Rota wheels. I was only going for 17" as they will only have winter tyres on them for now. And Would like to keep with 17" as the tyres are cheaper. Saying that We don't do more that 4-5k a year on our cars.

Heh! When I finally decide on my new rims, I'll be using them in the summer and keeping these for winters.

Thats a good idea. keep the Standard one's for winter and get a nice new set (looking at Works at the moment) for the summer

I went for these:-

They are stock size (17x7") but 8mm lower offset and a useful 2kg a wheel lighter. I kept the stock tyres as wanted to keep the cars character close to stock (for now).

Picture just after they were fitted below:-

I realise they wont be to most people's taste as due to the design with the spokes not running to the edge of the wheel they look smaller than 17's.

And a picture with the car lowered:-

I like The WORK Emotion in either Xt-7 or 11R

talking to a few mates who drift they are top wheels and very sought after so maybe worth looking into if I sold them in the future
