Hi all,

I have recently purchased a 170k mile Toyota Carina fitted with the 2.0 litre, 16 valve, 3S-FE engine. It runs lovely but is a tad lumpy at idle and I figured it could do with a jolly good service. The thing is, when I search for bits on the usual sites in brings up various different parts - 3 sets of leads, 4 different plugs etc.

I would be very grateful if someone could provide me with links to the most suitable parts from the following list:

Leads
Plugs
Distributor
Rotor arm
Oil and air filter

Also, what gradeb oil should I be using, considering the mileage?

Thanks in advance thumbup

I'd use a 10-40 synthetic.

For most of the service parts, Toyota can't be beaten on quality (although they won't be super cheap). Just have your vin number to hand.
