How can such a seemingly simple problem be so annoying

My daily hack (2001 Lexus GS300) has blocked washer jets and I have struggled with them for months now, but they just won't stay unblocked. I have used pins, needles, wire, a bicycle pump, boiling water, Milton, Barry Scott juice, you name it... I have also tried some 'universal' fit ones, but they didn't really fit very well due to the strange design of the Lexus bonnet, and would only squirt fluid on the bottom 2 inches of the screen.

So I bit the bullet and called the Lexus dealer, prepared to have my wallet brutally assaulted... But no, worse than that, apparently they are no longer made as my car is more than 10 years old. They no longer exist. So it seems all Lexuses (Lexi? Lexus?) older than 10 years must have dirty windscreens. I strongly suspect that the jets from a different car might fit, but the nice man in the service department couldn't help with that, understandably.

I don't really want to buy breakers yard parts as I think they will have the same problem as the current jets that seem to get clogged up in the 'elbow' over time, so I'm looking for something new if at all possible.

Can anybody save me from pulling my hair out with a suggestion as to where I might get some? Or a proven set of 'universals' that actually do fit?

Have you cleaned out your washer bottle as without doing that your new jets will be blocked in no time - if you find some

Yes, but the problem seems to be accumulated gunk in the jets themselves - you can see darker areas through the white plastic. When / if I do get new ones I will certainly give the bottle a clean again.
