Anybody go to the JapShow Finale at Santa Pod?

First time for me, and I have to say it was awesome.

Great people! A lot of the tracks and other car events could learn from the guys at Santa Pod.. they were brilliant.

I was there with fd:uk. I don't go that often because there's not a lot to do at the Pod unless you like drag racing I go to meet up with people. It's the first time I've seen Di run in the black FD too....shows how long it is since I've been!

I had not been since I was with the Mkiv Supra Club, would have been 2008 I think. Was also there with the FD:UK gang and although many things were as I remember the track action has changed a lot.

I think back in 2008 the Jap car scene was at its peak and you had a lot more cars in each class including the likes of Envy Performance's Supra (think the Black supra that was running 8's is the same car).

However as probedb said I don't tend to go for the track action and its more meeting like minded people

JM Imports GTR was pretty impressive too running 8.8's

I am friends with him on facebook from my Supra days and he said he was there with the Mkiv Supra club so I guess he at least has another Supra, not sure if he still has the GTR.
