Rare car?

Currently in paralimni in Cyprus next door neighbour had this car sitting not moved gathering dust for over 12 months never seen one before any in UK?

I'm sure I've seen one or two about but fairly rare in the UK, don't think it was ever sold here ( wiki implies no and there's none on autotrader eta: none on PH either.)
Mainly an America car, quite popular, believe it was in various NFS/F&F type things.

Very popular in the US,but havn't clocked a single one in the UK

Popular in the US - came in some cool colours too, bland interior, not the best performance, expensive compared to what we get in the UK.

Seen 1 or 2 for sale in the UK, it's nothing special when you factor in the cost to import.

ditto - popular in US never seen one here - I think they have similar underpinnings to the FTO

I've seen a couple here, at least one model was turboed. The green car Paul Walker has in the first TF&TF film was an Eclipse.

Raced one on the A14 a few years ago in my old gen 6 Celica *blush*

'Twas a guy from Lakenheath air base so US import, then saw another a couple of weeks ago. Very rare in UK.

Yeh i have only ever seen about 3 in the UK, 1 was a couple of weeks ago.
