Hey all, new to the forum but have a query.
Run a R33 Gtst moredoor and was curious if anyone knew of a brake upgrade that would be of a oem nature , aka without spending several thousand .

I've heard of 350z brakes , and or possibly Gtr.

Ideally with minimal modification.

All suggestions and knowledge greatly appreciated.
Cheers in advance
Dk

I'm a member here, they might have a good idea on what brakes you can use to upgrade smile

R33 gtr or r34 gtr brakes are a good oem upgrade.

Or just fit the biggest discs that fit your wheels, get some good pads, braided brake lines and off you go.

A good set of tyres will also make a difference to stopping distances.

I have same setup on my gtst.

R33/4 GTR brakes are a straight swap although you need to trim the backplate and change the lines , I had ds2500 pads and my r33 was great on the road and also good on track with this set up , there used to be a guy trading as dans big brakes dbb who did a variety of upgrade kits

Had several brake upgrades for mine from Dan - I think he's ceased trading though - might be wrong.

try Apex Performance - probably available thru the skyline forum and driftworks forums

costs will depend on what you want to do

disk and caliper upgrades
disk upgrade with caliper spacers
caliper upgrades
pad only upgrades
etc

R35 GTR setup is brilliant if you can find some calipers, disc and bells from a 35 owner that is upgrading. I have the adaptor brackets.
