60K Engine from a Ignis, when cold sounds fine however when up to temp the valve train seems a little loud ie clatter or clicking, im not sure if its normal or louder than normal the engine has good oil and is service correctly.
The sound is mostly heard at idle or up to 2000 rpm and remains steady in pitch. It would seem that this engine has very few faults I cannot find anything by bashing it into Google.

Is it the correct grade oil?

Could be slightly low oil pressure at low rpm maybe not helping the hydraulic tappets. If it dosnt have hydraulic tappets, might be worth checking the valve clearences.

Has it a good history of oil changes?

From memory the engine has a timing chain, as opposed to a belt. Could be something to do with that?
