Hi all,

I have had my RX8 for coming up on 12 months, unfortunately the compression is going and I don't want a quick fix I'm looking for a good rebuild garage at a reasonable price in the home counties area. hopefully within about 50 miles of Leatherhead Surrey.

If anyone can help that would be ace.

Rotechniks used to have a good reputation. They have been bought/sold a few times over the years so I have no idea about them now. Could be worth checking out on a Rotary forum though (this one is for MX5s wink).

Thanks, Weirdly they are the only company I could found and saw them today, They seem to have a good set up and a gold rebuild which includes painted block and porting is only £2200 which I thought seems good on price and looking at some of their work they have going on in the garage I'm expecting good things I'll let you know.

Super 7 Autos, based in Worthing.

I wouldn't use anyone else.

ETA. There are some interesting posts on FDUK regarding Apex Rotary...

rotary revs is said to be one the better companies for rebuilds - based in west yorkshire! at 3.2k for a whole rebuild including a street port which is good value for money and the drive back will help with the running in :-)

there's also essex rotary in thurrock or pettit racing/bespoke performance a short distance from ware.

Waves.

Carl has rebuilt the rotary in my wife's rx8 and the turbo in my kit car and I'd happily recommend him.
