Does anybody know if the standard Suzuki Ignis top mounts can be used to replace the ones on the sport? They have different part numbers but the look to be the same.

Ignis sport part number - 41710-60J00
Ignis (1.3) part number - 41710-80G10

The drivers side on mine is making a knocking sound and I want to replace it but I can't find one anywhere (I haven't tried suzuki yet)

I am not sure if its the same part, but I am also having trouble sourcing this part as mine has gone and I have been informed that this is the weakest part of the Ignis. However there is a very expensive option...

These guys race Ignis sports and these are a top mount kit to allow you to adjust the camber they are proper expensive but look good quality. I have Cusco strut brace on mine and its brilliant quality.

Please let me know if you can get the standard item because it will probably be cheaper than these

Here's hoping I don't need em soon then! Just got a fresh MOT so I hope that means they are good.

Jesus, lets hope I don't have to change mine anytime soon as that looks a tad pricey for a cheap car.

Where did you get the strut brace from Low Pro and does it make a noticable (positive) difference to the car?

Anyone done any other mods to their Ignis?

I had vague plans to do some bits but there seems to be very little aftermarket and affordable bits available. Might splash out on a K&N 57i induction kit at some point but even that seems pricey compared to those for other cars frown

So; looks like monster sport can supply the standard top mounts. They come as a pair.

Part number is 541510-4350M, Bush,Mount[Front Strut upprt support) for Swift sport HT81s

They are about £30 plus postage from Japan.

Monster sport europe may also be able to get you some parts if you email them. They can supply stuff but they took to long to get back to me so I went through japan instead.

I get all my stuff from Part box they race Ignis and Swift and know quite alot. Just type that into bing or something.
I really noticed the top brace iv got a bottom one too, that I am not so sure about. Mines on Spax springs and poly-bushed plus the strut-braces and rear anti roll bar I also went up a size on tyres as large as the rim would take so I am on 195 instead of the standard 185. Handles great in the dry but can be twitchy in the wet, and not sure why but I seem to get quite bad lift of over-steer in anything but dry weather, I think it is on the stiff side.

I have got a reusable panel filter if anyone wants one its for a Ignis. I dont want it as the cost of the cleaning oil is the same price as a paper element.

Mines only done 50k and lift off oversteer can be quite bad in the wet. Mines standard too.

Quick update. The parts are here!

So if your top mounts need replacing; order the part I mentioned above from Monstersport. It took a a week and ending up costing about £80 all in (inlcuding £40 import duty).

Those expensive Cusco items from Part box don't look that bad if they last a long time or can be rebuilt cheaply.

I've been thinking about getting a cusco front strut brace as they seem to get really good feedback from the people that have fitted them; Low pro, do you think they are worth it?

Massive panic filled bump from me but my Ignis Sport has just failed it's MOT due to rear brakes. They can get hold of pads and discs easily (which all need replacing) but they can't source a rear caliper from anywhere!

I've looked everywhere online and got no joy, I can't even find the part number and have no idea if the same calipers were used on any other similar models etc.

Help! I'm desperate and no idea what to do....

Bump from a fellow Iggy Sport owner. Did you get it sorted? It's an amazing little car, but its rarity works against it sometimes. I've found two different Suzuki dealers to be incredibly helpful with sourcing OEM parts: Levoi in Colchester, and Autosales in Bilston West Mids. Could be worth giving them a ring if you haven't had any luck so far.

The only option was to get them reconditioned. £65 per caliper (getting both rears done as it seemed sensible). My car is up on a lift at work with no wheels and the calipers are somewwhere in the post, supposedly a 10day ish turnaround.

Bit of a pain as it's my only car so I've had to borrow one off a friend for 2 weeks (an 06 swift, wish it was a sport too!).

Honestly love the car but thinking of selling as I can't have this sort of thing happen again. Might start looking for a pratical (but fun) estate of some sort. Ideally something a bit less rare as I had similar troubles sourcing parts for my old FTO, although the members club etc was much more supportive and active.

I know what you mean, and I'm glad reconditioning them was an option for you. Don't sell it though biggrin ...at least not before you check parts availability (for whatever goes next time) with the main dealers. I've not had any problems with actually sourcing parts from them. Just the sodding cost smile

Update from monster sport. They are doing a last run of their top mounts. Think they will only have 50 or so left.

70 pound per set.
