350z vs S2000 to own
Discussion
I'm swaying more towards the S2K because of the drop top. I havent considered the S15 I guess because im turning into a bit of an NA nut... Saying that though I will look into the S15 as im having a hard time finding either of the other cars.

An S15 would look great! What about an RX7? I know there is one for sale in Carmarthen.Edited by Shnev91 on Monday 20th April 12:22
Went through something similar.
Z4 3.0
Z3 2.8
350z
370z
Boxsters (2.5/2.7/3.2)
MX5s (with FI)
RX7s
Ended up with a 2001 S2000, with a glass window replacement roof and a very, very manic engine.
The RX would have been a bit to much, maybe next time.
The BMWs and Nissans were fast but heavy, not that engaging and not that much faster than the S2, in fact in a lot of cases i would say slower than it.
Boxsters were very close but it was an asthetic thing, i love the current Boxster, less so the early ones, the S2000s i tried had slightly vaguer steering but overall felt more composed than the porkers.
It must be admitted my remit for a car was:
Preferably roofless, quick enough to get in trouble, dangerous enough to keep me focused and cheap enough to be in budget.

Nah I'm scared of rotary. Haven't got the pockets to keep them running.
I have heard, as long as you get a well looked after car, they are not to bad. Just be careful with the turbo, as it should always be left to cool down after a good hoon. Some cars might come with a turbo-timer which is a great modifications.Late to this thread but a good choice, the 350Z feels heavy despite the extra power, the S2000 is a much more nimble car and has one of the best gearboxes fitted to a production car.
I have a 350Z currently and I am in the process of changing it as is just not as fun as it really should be when you look at it's paper stats.
