Wife has been looking at a 2013 370z GT to replace her z4.

It has just 9K miles, and has the remainder of the manufacturers warranty and is ours for a fraction over £20K.

Drives exceptionally well, has all the toys and is well priced.

Other than crappy fuel economy (she does small miles) and high tax, can anyone think of why this might be a bad idea or any inherent problems we should look out for?

Poor paint, tailgate not staying up, rattling dual mass , top end noise , check tyres are good

Not a lot to go wrong with the zed , pretty bulletproof really

Cheers, had another look today, all seems good, particularly in areas you are mentioning.

Think we're going to go ahead...

They like to run on at least 97 octane pref 99 , is that going to be an issue?

It isnt in so much as its available locally and if it needs it, it needs it.

My wife doesnt do big miles anyway (about 9K per year) and we're expecting economy to be somewhere between her Prodrive Subaru @ 22mpg and her z4 3.0Si @ 27mpg.

Tax is a bit of a balls. It seems to be over £400 a year - which is back to Subaru levels. frown

The way I look at it Its a couple of tankfuls more than a "normal" car and for the time I keep my cars it's about £700 extra or a set of tyres , small potatoes in the scheme of things

Yeah well worth it!

We're going to go for it. We pick the car up on Friday smile

Love yours by the way. Fantastic looking car!

I see you've the K&N induction kit on it - is it a worthwhile upgrade, in terms of an even nicer noise from the v6?

No induction kit just drop in filters , the induction kit makes it sound better but reduces hp a bit due to sucking in hot air

Even drop in filter make it sound a bit better but you really need a cat back exhaust since the stock one is so quiet , they transform the car.

I got mine from these guys http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/, I got the Invidia Gemini since funds were tight , I wanted the Fast Intentions one but couldnt afford it. Check out youtube loads of 370z exhaust before and afters on there.
