Some are rather large money for an old ish car I'm just wondering what they are like ?

pretty quick and very tuneable...i've always fancied one, but can't get past the boy racer image.

also seem to command a bit of a scene tax, getting quite expensive for what they are.

All of this I agree with. Same reasons I've always wanted but never owned.
