Hi all,
Today in a nutshell: sold my BMW 535D today at midday, felt pretty naked without a car so reserved an unseen 2004 Lexus Sport cross by 3pm. GF has gone nuts, ho hum...amyway...
I have ridden Jap bikes all my life but Jap car ownership is new to me. I loved my beemer but let him go due to impending move to a city where 280 horses and twin turbos aligned to a big fat DPF didn't really make sense.
So the plan was to buy a cheap Golf/Pug runaround for a few K and be happy in my new small car existence. But, you know how it is. Internet reports on the Lexus failed to show up any gremlins and I suddenly found I could justify 28mpg so it made perfect sense.....
Anything I need to know before I hand over the rest of the cash on Sunday??
