Hi,

I have a 2005 Toyota corolla verso
It appears that by pressing the lock button on the key fob I've deactivated the remote locking fob. The light flashes on the fob buy neither fob locks or unlocks the doors.

It's not keyless entry it's just the central locking fob. The locking works fine via the in car switch but it's like the car can't sense the fob any more.

It was locked but I checked to see if it was by pressing the lock button again. How can I get it working again?

Try pressing the buttons with the key in the ignition

Also - battery might be weak despite the key lighting up

^^This^^

The battery can power the light but have insufficient oomph to activate the locks
Happened to me on my Toyota (different model). Replaced the battery. Job jobbed.
If it's not the battery, the fob may have gone out of sync. These links may help.

I needed to resync the fob to the car, a series of opening and closing the door with key in and out of the ignition.
