MK2 LS400 Tyres

Hello,

I have a mk2 LS400 which needs new front tyres. The tyre size is 225/60/16.

I can get some ditchfinders for £50 which I'm not interested in.

Only two big brand tyres are available from my local tyre fitters.

1. A set of Avons for £84 each
2. A set of Continentals for £114 each.

What would you recommend or any other suggestions?

have a look on black circles, pretty good selection and well priced.

In case you've not sorted this yet - I had Avons on mine and they were perfectly fine - quiet too, which is the main thing! I'd also had Maxxcis on before that that were a bit noisier but lasted forever - nearly 40k miles which I thought was amazing for such a big car..

Just don't make my mistake and sell it!

I put a lot of Avons on the car.

Currently had it for 6 months now.

Using it everyday doing about 1200 miles a month, no plans to sell it for the foreseeable future.
