Had always wanted one but sadly never did!

What the hell happened to Mitsubishi? They used to design some beautiful and unique looking cars frown

I think they are pretty loved. Must be awesome with 500bhp.

I love them. There's one parked at a house in my estate. Long neglected and going green with algae(red paint underneath). I dream of rescuing it but I've too may projects already.

Used to have one, lovely cars however mine was a bit of a money pit, never stopped spending money on it until it became uneconomical (for me) to repair (despite some very helpful people from the aforementioned gtoc forum - many thanks fastbikes76 ) so it languished on my drive for about 5 or 6 years. Earlier this year my uncle who is semi-retired offered to take it away and attempt to resurrect it. After he filed up a new key (i'd lost the originals) we removed as much of the extra wiring for the immobilizer and even with old petrol she fired up straight away, she even managed to move under her own power (the clutch and gearbox were still spot on).
Last time I spoke to my uncle he'd fixed the brakes and got it through it's MOT and was tooling around the new forest in it at weekends. So if you see a red MK1 GTO with a large rear wing tootling about the south coast in the new forest, give it a wave.

I had this one for 8 years - still miss it loads, except when a road has speed humps or potholes smile
