Open the diagnostic port and check for error codes.
Switch ignition on, don't start the engine
Bridge E1 and TE1*
Count engine check light flashes and compare with the fault code table
First flashes of 0.5 second duration indicate ‘tens’, after a 1.5 second pause, next flashes of 0.5 second duration indicate ‘units’
A 2.5 second pause occurs between codes
After a 4.5 second pause, trouble codes will be repeated
The ECL flashes once every 0.25 seconds if the system is correct
Switch ignition OFF
Remove bridging tool

 * using that indispensable item, a bent paper clip. smile

Be aware that there may be more than one code stored so watch the count carefully.
Depending on what, if any, codes show up, these are what you should be looking at.

Check all vacuum hoses for leaks: always do the simple stuff first. smile
Ensure the IACV (idle air control valve) is clean and operating correctly - a gunged up valve is a common problem.
Check the TPS is adjusted correctly: you'll need a multimeter to measure the resistance and a set of feeler gauges

Be very careful to tighten the TPS screws evenly otherwise the TPS can move and go out of adjustment.
Do one 1/8 of a turn and then the other 1/8 of a turn and repeat going back and forth until the screws are tight.
Don't be tempted to mess around with the position of the throttle stop screw!

Google the Supra forums for the fault code list and detailed 'how to' tutorials for the IACV and TPS.
