Hi, I've just sold my mark1 mx5, keen on a sera due to gull wings. I've seen one advertised on a 93 K plate auto, with 92,000 miles, does anyone know what it could be worth as difficult to find others to compare against and what to look out when viewing? Thanks in advance.

I expect it will be bitterly disappointing to drive after an MX5.

I know a chap at the beeb who has several of these.

PM me your e-mail and i will pass it to him, he may have some sage words of wisdom.

I used to have one many years ago. It probably will be pretty disappointing to be honest but the Sera does have character and is a bit of a head turner. I swapped out the 1.5l auto for a starlet gt 1.3 turbo engine and changed it to manual. Not exactly quick but a bit more engaging to drive. I bought mine for about £1500 but that was about 10 years ago and sure it only had 50,000 miles. Sold it for over £3000.
