Mazda CX-5: Master Warning Light

Hi all
New to the forum (hello!) and apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.
I pick up our new 62 plate cx5 at the weekend and we love it, but, yesterday, the master warning light came on.
It came on again this morning at the same time as the trip telling me that it was icy conditions, it then disappeared when I pressed the info button.
The car is running great but the manual suggests it should go back to Mazda. Speaking to a friend, he suggested that this can happen with them in cold weather.
The car has 49k on the clock and I just wanted some pointers before contacting the garage (not a Mazda dealership)
