63 plate, did that have the nav system ?

Mine does and it's so easy to use it's wonderful basic and effective
No before they introduced that. Did have a parcel shelf that went up with the tailgate unlike the 2012 models through. String is high tech stuff biglaugh

Nice one. I have the silver ones on mine (they go better with the Boost Blue), but they were fitted very badly (wonky and air bubbles underneath), I assume by the work experience boy at the dealership. They may get replaced under warranty.

I'd recommend to anyone else getting these to fit them yourself.

They are so thick it made fitting rather easy I don't see how he could have got an air bubble in them !

My guess is that there was dirt on the sills that hadn't been cleaned off.

Yes'm but sports don't, I assumed it may be as it has HID lights as I know my dads merc does not have spots due to its HID lights but it looks like they have them on foreign models

You're in for a shock. A three year service plan for mine was over £1000.

Blimey! I got the first two services thrown in for free when I bought the car so the 3rd must be a big job or someone is making a big profit out of you.

I think the first service cost me just under £200 and the second under £400. It might have been the four year service plan that was over £1000, but either way the services were a fortune.

Did you get a maps update, or just the software?

I was told there was a maps update for mine, but when I took the car in they said there wasn't. I've since updated the software myself..

Has anyone owned both the older 5spd version and the newer version with the 6spd 'box?

I had a 57 plate and loved it to bits, but it was unbearably noisy to commute in. If the newer ones are a bit more civilised with the 6th gear and perhaps a little more sound deadening then I'd have another in a heartbeat!
