Hi, we had one briefly. It wasn't a patch on the IS-F it replaced, still can't really understand why it felt so different, but it wasn't comfortable being driven the same way on the same roads, and I don't miss it one iota.

I still regret letting the IS-F slip away, and may yet buy another. Better car for less money.

Am looking at one tomorrow at Lexus Cheltenham. Have a 2013 GS 450h and fancy a change. Will post more when home.

I would genuinely drive both it and an IS-F if you're in the market........depending on your driving style, you may find the IS-F to be the more rewarding car to drive. We put 16 way adjustable suspension on the IS-F we had, because I couldn't live with the rock hard ride as standard, and it just made a good car even better.

I'm considering another IS-F, I've been in touch with Fensport who supplied and fitted the suspension on the first one, interestingly both Tien and BC both now supply adjustable kits for the very reasonable sum of about £650 or so. Plus fitting, obviously, but it's a good deal for the difference it makes.

It was pouring yesterday in Cheltenham. Lovely interior, everything works and is built to Lexus standards. Wheel and pedals in a great position, paddle shifts have a good feel. Active diff is interesting but could not go fast enough to enjoy. Good visibility, not as wide as expected. Epic noise from the V8 as the revs climb....no chance to try grip or high speed cornering. Love the seats, comfortable and fully adjustable. More of a GT than an out and out sports car, due to weight and V8 engine. Will I buy it NO. More 928 S than 911 Carrera. I would compare it to a Corvette, great for the US and continental Europe, but just not right for the UK. Will stick to the dull, CVT gearboxed but comfortable and economic 450 GS hybrid.
