I drive a 2010 model for my daily commute (22 miles each way, mostly M-way/A-road with a bit of local at each end) and it's perfect -reliable, efficient (55mpg+ per tank) and practical.

However's it's now covered 82k and I'm wondering if I'm probably nearing end of DPF shelflife. The car has always had decent A/M-Way runs so I expect it's getting cleaned out regularly.

I'm wondering if now is a good time to swap pre-100k mark and pre-DPF.
However, the car is spot on and it seems a shame to swap..

Anyone with experience of Toyota D4Ds that can share any advice?

FYI tempted by Auris hybrid next time.

Re Hybrid, I've got a Lexus CT 200h which is basically the same platform. Also got a 22 mile commute each way and averaging 50 mpg just now (will probably go up in the summer). Hybrids are great but not a suited to the motorway as diesel - unless you get stuck in stop/start slow crawl stuff in which case they are great.
