This was done in the Ferrari forum last year.

Regardless of how it looks in comparison to the real thing a lot of hard work has gone in and ended up with pretty good results IMO

Isnt the F50 open top?

I prefer it as an NSX...

Credit to them for the effort, but it looked better as an NSX. Just like the 355 kits for the MR2, anyone car buff will know immediately that it's not real.

You have to admire the workmanship, but it still just doesn't look 'right'...reminds me of the "TR40", the b'stard offspring of a TR7 and a load of fibreglass :

That is plain brilliant, you do have to question who would drive it or who on earth would actually believe it was an F40, especially with the weedy noise a TR7 makes

Mercifully, the 12 or so that got built all had the Rover V8 conversion IIRC. But yeah, it's more likely to elicit howls of laughter rather than admiring glances

You have to admire the workmanship, but IMHO if you're going to the effort you should make it 100% accurate or not bother. The lights, roof and wheels just don't look right.

It just looks a bit crap to me. I really can't see the point of trying to make any replica when the original car looks good already!
