Well 330ish bhp, but more than half a tank of fuel. I still had enough fuel to drive it home blown fron Doningtion so it wasnt low.

As said though was fine normally, until you want to drift a left hander then you have the issues. Geff reconed it was probably the shape of the tank. But yeah swirl pots etc required.

only cars <10yrs old that need and SVA .

ah.. you learn something everyday...
so pre 95 cars don't need SVA, right?

shadowninja, don't mean to pick on you, but it really annoys me when people say that.. these are very affordable cars to buy.. but the running costs just aren't! and there are many others competing cars that are so much cheaper in this respect, I don't think it's fair to say "if you're worried about mpg don't buy a fast car"....

Yup thats right. I think it goes down to months for accuracy. Theres a few modded cars just sitting around out there waiting to pass 10yrs to be registered when they just need an MOT.

Not 100% sure about that - I thought it was pre k-reg (aug 92).

My FD's J-plated and the MoT emissions test is the 'no cat' version (fortunately) but a k-plate car has a cat test...

Well technically nothing needs a cat, but just needs to be able to pass the emissions test.

For some reason the local MOT place (who I dont know, and dont particularly like) dont seem to test the FD. Which is nice.
