WRX buyers guide?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I'm looking at getting a 97-99 WRX Wagon (a sensible family car :D). Something to lug my mountain bike, the dog, and possibly a family in a year or two. :eek:
Just wondering if there is a buyers guide floating around on the net somewhere. Or if anyone knows what to look out for when buying one.

Also what are they like at higher kms, ie 100,000kms and above?

What are the differences between the years an is it worth paying the bit extra for a later model one (esp a 97 over a 95)

Can't add much that won't be in the FAQ above. Other than, I too justified the purchase of a 5dr Impreza on the basis of 'sensible family car'. Most fun I have ever had being 'sensible'.
