Hi

I've just joined the site and come across you guys..
I own an 04 GPW S2 (I’m also a member of the S2Ki owners club).
These cars are fabulous!! I have owned mine since March this year, and it's sooo much fun to drive.
A friend of mine has an 02, supposedly standard, & has been dyno'd @ 257 BHP. I thought these were only rated to 240.....
Not checked mine yet, but would be nice to see what it is.

I am surprised also.
Paul, another friend of mine did the dyno run. He works @ G'Force motorsport in Aylesbury. He'is the main guy on the rollers. (They mainly tune Porsches, though they now have a department for WRX Subarus.)

I had a look at the curves on the graph, and was as surprised as he was?!

Just spoke with Pete; the dyno run on his car showed 257.9 BHP to be exact.
His had 60k miles, apparently Paul (dyno man), reckons the engines loosen up above 50k, giving an average of 5 to 10hp more, & above 60k an average of 10 to 15hp more. (I guess there's a stage where they can get too loose & ????)

I sent you a pm on s2ki earlier, i've been trying to post my s2 on the for sale site.
Nickrg told me to send a thread to the for sale section, i'm guessing thats you??
