I'm amazed this thread is still going strong over 7 years since my opening post, this is how my jap wagon looks now

Unfortunately, after 10 years of ownership, the time has come to sell, its going to be a tough day watching her leave.
I always look at ST185's when i start to think i need to replace my mr2 with 4 seats. Great looking cars still. Only thing that puts me off is the weight. Do you notice how heavy it is?

Not been to this thread before or waded all the way back yet but here's my little contribution;

It's a Daihatsu Sirion Rally 4, didn't even know they existed until one blew the doors off my road rally 1400cc MGZR. My daily driver is a STR Jaguar but I wanted something small that I could use for the commute (10 miles) and might have the ability to actually move when it snows. Had it three months now and what a blast. Accepting it's made from tin foil and recycled plastic bottles, the lack of weight, a peppy 110hp Yaris motor and 4wd makes it properly good fun.

The best bit of course is the complete anonymity, no one sees it, worries about it or races it. Until I whizz past them of coursesmile
Thats a properly cool little car. I love it.
+1 for that. Never knew they existed which makes it all the better. Look after it.

I want one now!

that's the funny thing with it, I only realised how heavy it was when I had to push it, it was a complete shock. It somehow manages to hide its weight in both acceleration and handling.

DanielSan, of the last two the last one is the better one. It works quite well in fact. But there's too much empty space in the one before last. It doesn't do much for me. Just my opinion hope it helps. If you're interested in photography you definitely have potential and so would be worth picking up a decent camera smile

The rest of the photos are good for starters, but try to avoid things sticking out of the roof of the car from the background, and try to separate the car from the background more, especially if the background is quite busy.

Again just my opinion though, everyone has different taste! Nice Scoob smile These could be improved a lot just with a better camera as the car is not always in focus in these. Feel free to email me for advice on cameras.

Really good and useful tips cheers dude smile Going to try and get out over this week and get some other random pics just to mess about with.

Second to last one does need cropping down definitely. Downloaded an editing program over the weekend so going to play about with that until I get used to it I think. I'm crap a photoshop type stuff so this will definitely be a lot of trial and error mixed with incompetence and idiocy.

Have been tempted to get a decent DSLR, it's just one of those things I struggle to justify, I go through phases with taking snaps where I have a few weeks/couple of months of none stop messing about doing them then I don't bother again for ages so I wonder whether it's worth forking out the cash on a half arsed hobby hehe
