Had a fair bit of snow around here lately. Not too many performance cars which can still be enjoyed with this much snow.

I'm finding myself more and more drawn to that Civic.

Just need depreciation to work it's magic (that's a really crappy thing to wish on the owners... but hey wink ).

Haha yes, but seeing production for the FK2 has stopped and there now being less than 2,500 on British roads I'm hoping they eventually come to hold some value and not depreciate TOO much! The car is a hoot to drive, it's flawless in my eyes.

Premium deep violet pearl a factory colour on facelift FD2's.

I guess it is a bit like midnight purple the Nissan colour..

"In October 2008, the Civic received a minor face lift. The standard and hybrid versions now had a similar front bumper as the Type R while the head lamps gets a smoked tint and also redesigned tail lamps changes the round insets into octagons. The Type R also received new colours, with Premium White Pearl, Premium Deep Violet Pearl and Crystal Black Pearl being added and Vivid Blue Pearl dropped"

Cracking colour. Seems a shame to have a full CF bonnet, any plans to colour code it?

I was thinking about it, but it is a genuine Mugen item... £1550 it cost, and if I do that then part of me thinks it would hurt the resale value, as if I ever sold the car, which may happen in the next 12 months then I would put it back to stock.. it has some nice parts, Ohlins, Cusco, mugen wheels, seeker spoiler blade etc etc.

Me & my bro now have a pair of Japanese twins in the fleet. 1 bought a year ago, the other at the weekend. Both cars cost £1350 (combined, not each!)

Staggering value for money.
