Bought an M5 so it look's like I'm gonna have to sell it after 8 glorious years together frownfrownfrown
Noooooooo! The FD3 is one of the best looking cars ever. 8 years is a long time though, well done, clearly shows what great cars they are (almost bought a red one 6 years ago.. )

I know, I absolutely love it, but I can't run it and the M5. It says everything about it that the longest I'd had a car prior to the Rex was 18 months. Sublime in every way (Fuel consumption excluded.......)

Fantastic. '98 spec jap?
I came close to buying a black Japanese import Integra not so long ago. Same shape, but in black and it was a real looker. Sadly, the emissions light was on when I called the dealer. Asked him to look into it (thinking possible lambda sensor failure), only for him to ring me back saying he had took it to his mechanic and the mechanic thought the cat was fked.

I asked him if he would sort it out prior to me looking at it, whereupon he said he wouldn't as that would be expensive and the car was already priced well and that the cat being fked wouldn't stop it going through an MOT (though would cast serious doubt on whether it would or not!). In the end I decided I could do without dealing with a trader with a poor attitude like that, some 100 miles from home.

Well my first post on PH with my MR2 mk2 rev2 Turbo. My first Jap car and first ever sports car too.
Had a respray in Ferrari rosso red (previous owners choice) and what a ba#*ard to paint match it! furious !

Owned the car nearly 2 years now and love it! It was stock when purchased apart from the alloys. I have added a few enhancements, all performance related though so not much to see on the exterior.

Here in the photo from PH where i found it originally

More recent

and current after engine rebuild and a few cosmetic touchups

Are those alloys staggered or are they the same same size all round.

Yep those alloys are too big and don't suit the car. Nice car otherwise though.

Nice GT4s there. It was between one of these, a ST185 Carlos Sainz model though, and a GTR to get when my 944 went. The RB26 soundtrack won me over in the end smile

Well they are staggered, and yes they are big as they are 18s.

Previous owner installed them...
No she really did and its prettly much as I bought it on the exterior!
Fronts currently 215/35 and rears 225/40.

I like the wheels but have been looking towards a set of these http://www.carnoisseurdirect.com/rota-grid-drift-a...
Not in gold but black or silver.

But I'm also thinking of selling as would love an R33 either GTR or GTST depending on the insurance costs as I currently have classic insurance with the mr2 and its cheaper than a set of new tyres costs! smile
also i have 2 kids so the Mrs nearly left me when i bought this. Think its time to get back in her good books lol. But we do have two family cars too so i dont know what she is complaining about? scratchchin

Ditch a family car 2Bar and get a GTR, not that I'm biased whistle You can fit 4 adults in and the boots big enough for the weekly shop. Mines on classic insurance @ £540 a year with all extras and guaranteed value. 18mpg might hit some people though but every journey is now an event instead of a chore biggrin
Thankyou Mastadon for the compliment
Couple of arty old pics for ya

Andy that's very tidy! I run a mondeo as my private hire taxi so will always have family car but for days out and to help cure my horse power fettish this would be ideal so can get kids in and other things.

I'm going to be looking around JAE next month to find out a bit more on R33s but price range was looking at gtst models as most gtrs are a little bit too much from what I've seen. But I've always wanted an RB26 engine since I was a kid.

Insurance wise that's really good and am happy on limited mileage policys as I am on the mr2.

White is definately one of the best colours too along side Midnight Purple! Ill never buy another red car lol

Hi chaps, another first poster. Read this site for years and recently signed up. Didn't want to start a topic about my car specifically so this is the ideal place to put it!

1999 200SX Kouki, owned it 3 and a half years and taken it from a mildly fettled Black road car to a track focused car with a pretty heavy spec.

Work Wheels, R888s, fully adjustable coilovers and arms, refurbished underbody, poly bushed, stripped, caged, 405bhp / 380lb/ft. Absolutely loving it after 2 years of it in pieces. Hope you like it. Ryan.
