Fuel pump
Check for easy hot and cold starting, not cheap to replace (though a cheap fix compared to latter diesels!)
Other than that usual e34 issues

Next job.
I am after some light grey interior bits?
The rear parcel shelf is full of ripples and the rear door cards have delaminated.
Are there any lurking out there or is there an OEM source in Germany?
I would appreciate your help guys.

I would appreciate your help guys. I'd suggest you get the part numbers and search on Google.de - might get lucky, also D-Class might be able to assist, iirc they are in Surrey (Woking). Other than that I can't help.

I changed my mind after posting that, and have now bought a set myself!

Strange optical illusion. You're welcome! I agree, however, the staggered 18" style 5's from the e31 would make me think twice before fitting them to an e34, plus they are £xxxx..the other e34 in my ad pic was running 18"s (of a different style) for comparison. I'm wondering whether to fit a set of 17" style 5's to my e28..there are some tempting pics out there..

Since the advert has gone I can't see the price, but style 5s seem to be worth selling separately to the car these days.

They are worth selling separately for sure but I did not sell the car in the end! I had 3 people ring up wanting to buy the car at the full asking price (£2995) but I had just started converting it to a 540i manual!

Electrical gremlin fix suggestions from the E34 corner!
Happens more often on a damp wet day, the wipers stutter rather than sweep back and forth, the electric windows, sunroof, heated rear screen and A/C stop working. Damp, bad earth, any suggestions as why all these electrics are effected together?
Appreciate your help.

Stripped out the fuse box, cleaned everything and put it back together. Hey all the crazy electrical behaviour has stopped, more luck than judgment!
