Anyone in Germany?

I understand number plate surrounds at German BMW dealerships are free if you ask for them, is this true? Would anyone like to send me a couple over. I am looking for genuine German dealership surrounds rather than eBay special. I would be of course willing to pay postage etc, please let me know.

I highly doubt they are free. If they are generous they might give you one for free, but I wouldn't. I would expect to pay at least 5 euros for one.

We gave our nuber plate surrounds out for free, if someone who doesnt have our dealership name on their car wants it on their car then happy days!!! Ze Germans wont know that the surrounds are coming to the Uk, they will just think free advertising!!

Try asking on Toytown Germany if no luck here.

I contacted 3 dealerships yesterday (Google Translate does a mean German these days), and all three were quite happy to send me free-of-charge a pair of number plate surrounds with their dealership names on it, as long as I would pay for postage. Two of those I am not going to follow up with, unless you want me to? They're looking for 17 and 24(ish) euro postage, payable by bank transfer.

The one I went for accepted paypal and only charged 8 euro postage

Just sent an email to ten dealerships around Germany. Ideally want the Munchen Liederlassung one, don't mind.

Did you get them and if you dont mind me asking how much?
