It's tucked up under the passenger seat (in the seat frame) before each car leaves the production line. Unless someone else has had a root around and discovered it before, it should be there (tho takes a bit of locating). It's been present on all of the last four BMW's I've owned...

I managed to get access in English today - I think it was fat fingers.

A great little tip as I did not have the full spec sheet for my car, and it has just gone up for sale - I can make my advert a bit more descriptive now!

Are you sure - sometimes they're a bugger to find? A friend told me the sheet wasn't there on the 325 I sold to him, but after me telling him it was definitely there, he eventually found it! Maybe your build sheet is hidden elsewhere, but as I say all mine have been well concealed within the passenger seat frame! Perhaps BMW have stopped doing this in the last few years...

Had a poke around under the seat of my E65 and couldn't find it. Although I did locate a Kylie CD from 2006 so thanks for the tip.

I just found the option sheet for my Canadian spec E30. I know there's probably a build sheet under the rear seat, but this was so much easier. I'm not sure I want to know how legit this is, but thanks OP.

Thanks just checked over a E90 330D I'm looking to buy. The retailer didn't list a few options the car came with, and that I didn't pick up upon when I test drove it. Looks like an even better buy now.

Tried a few times the BMW EPC, but get a portal error so could be down for the moment...

What does lights package mean?
Also storage compartment package?
