All it needs is different wheels IMO.

lovely and a great price, 1M look (parts) and s65 M3 engine, what not to like for that money, cheap when good.

Wicked. Wheels aren't to my taste but easy to change. Great engine in great chassis.

indeed, those are terrible, sell those ;-)
get some better fitting wheels (or OEM 1M wheels) and change the seats for sportier and better looking. (say BMW Performance or even bucket seats)

That's rather harsh.

it's a hell of a bit of kit for half the price of a genuine 1M , it does need a decent of wheels though at the very least, I'd opt for some BBS LMs.

Yup, agree, a set of wheels away from being a VERY nice car.
But wheels are subjective and relatively inexpensive.

Bonnet has been changed since the build too.
I have to say - it’s a special car, you’re all right about the wheels though, need to be OEM.

It looks like it’s been bought and stripped of valuable items, then put back up for sale frown
The seats, wheels and bonnet are worth over £7000 used.

It’s a shame, but mods nearly always fetch more when removed and sold separately.
Those seats go for £4000 alone!

I think its an interesting car but the price feels a bit punchy. What's a cat d 2011 m3 worth. Why would this be worth much more? I'm a sucker for buying modified cars but I've learnt that the market doesn't like them so while they can look cheap to buy compared to the build costs they can also be a massive arse to sell afterwards.

Are you a particular fan of water-damaged 118Ds?

Agree modified cars are a complete pain to sell. It’s effectively a cat d in reality and I had one of those once and it took ages to sell for a very low price. Rule of thumb - a cat d is only worth two thirds on a non cat d car.
What is a 2011 V8 manual M3 worth with 91,000 miles on the clock? £12 to £14k?

I’m afraid I only value this car at £10k. I know it’s rare, but so is an Austin Alegro, that doesn’t add any value.

Having looked closer at the photos more parts have been removed from the original build, steering wheel has been changed, dashboard, gear stick, hand brake, centre console. In addition to the wheels, bonnet, seats - you have to wonder what else has someone removed from this car that you can’t obviously see from the photos. The current seller is a trader who took it as a px 3 weeks ago, there is no history with it.
It’s not for me.

Poor car, putting those wheels on is just cruel.

I don't think it is the same car, look under the bonnet and the ebay car is a different colour on the inner wings whereas the Quarry Motors car has been fully resprayed. As you say the ebay car has an E90 dash whereas the Quarry Motors car retains a E82 dash, the front bumpers are different etc etc. The ebay car looks like a replica of the Quarry Motors car.

Also the Quarry Motors car looks like it is Estoril Blue and the ebay car maybe Lemans blue?

Tell that to Salvage car groups on Facebook asking 90% of a clean car for a Cat S! Doh!!!!

I'd value this around £15k to the right buyer , it is rare after all and made with (mostly) OEM parts.
Someone is selling a supercharged E90 M3 for around £26k and I think that will sell , but again it will take time.
