But as Paul GT3 has pointed out this looks to be an entirely different car.

Just backing up what's been said
Look at the pics together the car is a different shell

The inner wings arent painted.
Although might be due to picture quality the body looks a different colour blue.
Under the bonnet intake from kidney grills is different.
strut brace is now silver not black(could have been painted).
Bonnet is different.
Different door sill plates.
Different pedals.
And to finish if the conversion was complete and working why would you swap the dash for an e9x one??

Could still be a cool car but not correct to what's being advertised so would be weary as an unknown build?

In addition to all the other differences already noted:

The windscreen washer cap is different (the Quarry Motors car has white detailing - The ebay car doesn't)
The power steering cap is different (the Quarry Motors car has a green ring on it - The ebay car doesn't)

Why would anyone bother to change those two caps? confused

The ///M badge on the boot lid is in a slightly different location on the two cars (The boot-lid may have been repainted for some reason and the badge reapplied in a slightly different place)

All in all, the ebay car just doesn't look to be built to quite the same quality standard as the original (especially in the engine bay)

I'd agree that the car is blatantly NOT the Quarry Motors car, and the seller either doesn't realise they own a different car to the Quarry Motors car, or is deliberately misleading people, in the hope that they will be convinced that their car was built to a better standard, that it actually is, in order to sell the car.
