Has any body used www.cars2vans.com? They are advertising 125d M Sports for between £205 to £270 per month, on a personal lease. Sounds quite good to me.

How many miles are you going to do?You need to work out overall costs on your mileage, you may find the 135i is no more expensive over 2 years and 40k miles.

Lots of companies I click on say that for Personal Contract Hire I would need to be a company director or have a car allowance from work. I just need a normal personal contract hire... I've never understood that unless it's their terms with bmw to make it seem a business deal to keep the dealers happy on the retail side. Vat could play a part too (so add 20% if it does)gizlaroc said:

My fag packet manmaths (which are not guaranteed 100% accurate!) using approx combined figures from the tinternet shows:
M135i:
15000miles per year at 38mpg = 395 gallons = 1797litres * 1.27 = 2282.19 / 52 = 43.89p/w
125D:
15000miles per year at 58mpg = 258 gallons = 1174litres * 1.34 = 1573.16 / 52 = 30.25p/w
So a difference of £60 a month. I'd pay that to run an M135i over a diesel.

From reading all the owners reviews of the car and the test drive I had of one would easily see 35mpg without even taking it all that easy on a run, and after absolutely hooning it it was still showing 27mpg on the return.
My 335i showed around 21mpg doing the same run when I took that out for a test and that averaged 27mpg over the time I owned it, and I would expect the smaller, newer 135i to return slightly better.
Our 123d however returned a very disappointing 39mpg over the time we owned it, and don't expect the newer 125d to be much more than 10-15% better, and reading reviews on babybmw.net most seem to be getting just under mid 40's.
