I must have been really lucky then none of the 3 f10s I had were unstable at speed in anyway whatsoever, they'd just cruise down the motorway needing almost nothing from me in the way of input.

Me too. Never had any concerns. The car tracks straight as you'd like.

Odd comment about revs rising in sport too. Of course, the box might change down if you drop it boy sport but once up to cruising speed and backed off it'll go into top gear and the revs are then, of course, the same as in any other mode.

Maybe, as suggested, those less sensitive are actually causing the wandering by being unable to input changes smoothly enough? Sounds unlikely, the F10/11's hardly oversharp in any mode.

I have posted a couple of messages in this thread already. My 2010 F11 530D is now on 155,000 and still steers dead straight.

Regarding higher revs in Sport, I believe that Sport mode locks out 8th gear on he auto, leaving 7th as the highest gear that will be selected.

Not sure about locking out. From what I've read it might do that in Sport +, but will go into 8th in any case if you pull the paddle.

Not sure it would really matter in any case, if you're cruising along at any speed, you may as well be in comfort and if you're pushing on along A roads, you'd likely not get into 8th in any mode.

Hi guys my 2013 F11 was wandering all the time and pulling randomly, really annoying to drive, it was because the tyres were not inflated enough. The fronts were at 25 psi and backs around 30, I put the fronts to 32 and backs to 37 and now it is straight as an arrow and handles much smoother.

I run my B5 BITURBO on 20" rims with no problems. Tyre pressures are around 36psi and they are not run flats. Steering is great and the car is rock steady even at 200mph on the autobahn biggrin
