I had my Le Mans Blue 130 for 4 years.
Lovely colour in the sun but difficult to look shiny in duller weather and showed every speck of mud.
I did get a bit frustrated with the colour to be honest but I'm not one of life's polishers.
Painted the wheels a dark metallic gunmetal and they set it off nicely.
Also fitted Michelin PS3s and it transformed the ride quality.
The new owner has run it round the 'ring and Spa a few times and I think he's put different tyres on it as they, unsurprisingly, couldn't cope - plus a few other mods.
I would have the 130 over x35 purely because I like NA engines over turbos and the BMW 3 litre six is glorious - now have an X3 with the said engine.
That said, I do also have a supercharged JCW mini now.

FWIW I have an alert on A/T for these and an LE just got listed that has a Quaife LSD and several BMW Performance Parts - sounds like what you might want!
On the face of it, it isn't cheap but when you factor in what those bits would cost to put on one that didn't have them to my mind it looks pretty reasonable!

They always seem to have 130is, 330i and 335is.

Her indoors is thinking about selling the 130i M as we need a bit more space. What are folks thoughts on realistic value? The car is a 07 plate, one prev owner, FSH, and as original as they come. Sitting on about 84k miles at the moment. The car has half leather, parking sensors etc but doesn't have heated seats, cruise and such like. Looking at putting on PH next week but with only a few for sale and a big variation in pricing I would be keen to hear folks views on value.

What's the history like (servicing and recent work), and general condition? 5 door I assume? I would guess £7k tops. I've a 3-door with not too dissimilar spec that I am expecting to sell in the next 6 months or so; so I keep an eye on values.ginger steve said:
