Was the V10 number plate wishful thinking! hehe

The 4.8 V8 in the 650i is a belter its lovely & smooth & sounds awesome imo...I loved that engine in my X5.

Ha, bought the V10 plate as I wanted it for the 650's replacement - which is a V10 smile Just took me a while to find it so it sat on the 6 for a while.

Yep, the power delivery was soooo smooth. Sold it to my local BM dealer who sold it within 24 hours. Was absolutely immaculate and had all the toys. Keep looking out for another but can't really justify it.

No sure about the MPG but the P60 said £7600 last year. smile

Insurance is killing me: £360 for 25k PA including full business use. tongue out
You do around 25k per year in a 650i with THAT colour scheme. You're a very lucky man!

That looks mega by the way, I much prefer the E63 to the new shape. The new is nice but too conservative for my liking. I'd love a 6 but I've found equivalent 7s are cheaper despite being more expensive new... But they don't hold the same appeal.

I'll probably get a big GT coupe next and a 6 like that would certainly be on the radar.... That or a Mercedes CL but they're another league in reality (price and running costs!)

"Sierra Juliett" was my ride of choice from 2006 until it's painful demise in late 2008.

'M's and 'AMG's have come and gone since, but I do remember that I really enjoyed and appreciated that car. Very stable at high speed, just louche enough to assist my bachelor lifestyle at the time, and festooned with enough gadgets and toys to keep me entertained.

Performance and practicality surprisingly merge: the N62B44 is a thunderously fine engine, pretty much un-burstable and a great example of BMWs ability to mass produce top quartile performance.

One evening, my mate and I were waiting outside, whilst the girls got spruced up before hitting the West End. So, we settled into the seats and watched a World Cup match on the iDrive screen. Then my phone rang.

'[tigerkoi] please please please can Francesca (a 3rd girl) come too?'
"No chance, darling. Haven't got the space in the back. You and Toni are nice and petite and fit perfectly into the bucket seats.'

-click-

That was that. Back to the game. Netherlands 1. Russia...3. Bugger....

A few minutes later, click clack of multiple high heels, tap on the window and the ladies are ready.

Three of them.

"Darling I told you. Sorry Francesca, you can't come in the car - NO SPACE."
'Babe, you're a rotter!'
"No way, if she comes, she goes in the boot."

And in the boot she indeed did go. Great car, the E63 645ci. Extremely versatile.
