Never looked at these (mainly because they're not available in the 3-Series!) so out of interest what do the comfort seats offer; do they give the same sort of lateral support as the sports seats as well as the ability to adjust things like under-thigh support? I've got electric memory and lumbar support adjustment on the sports seats in my F31 and I actually think they're pretty good - if anything still a touch lacking in lateral support but nevertheless decent on a long-run.They don't give you the seat thigh bolsters as large as the sport seats. I have big thighs and I find the sport seats after an hour or so cause me to ache because they force my legs too close together. Comfort seats allow a little more 'splay'. They serve up sufficient and adjustable cornering support by means of air bladder adjustable ribcage bolsters. Mine are set to perfectly fit my torso. You then have mid point and low point lumbar arch support which allows you to dictate the exact arch of the seat back. Lastly the top half of the seat tilts and as I am short 5'5" I have it tilted fully forward so the seat back follows a curved spine profile from coccyx to shoulder blade and the headrest is only two inches behind my head.
They do a few other bits and it all electric etc but essentially that is the key benefit. I'm an airline pilot so my day might involve being strapped to a flighdeck seat for 11 hours before I get into the car. I therefore really really appreciate a comfortable seat for the drive home.
I have adaptive drive, comfort seats, logic 7 and the twin turbos. Each for the first time on a five and I've had e39/e60's.
I would now never do without all four. Every other frill or gadget or finish I can take or leave but those four are essentials for me now. Unlimited thrust, comfort, bass and cornering speed. :-)

Here is pic of my old 520d with comfort seats, the side bolsters are more than enough to hold you in place and you really do sink into them (in a firm supported kind of way)
They also come with power adjustment for the steering which is neat as pulls itself back into the dash when you get out of the car.

I am surprised at some of the mpg figures you guys are getting. My F11 530d will do 43mpg on long journeys (eg 85mph on motorway), but on my 10 mile commute on empty country roads is closer to 30mpg.
Average over 72,000 miles is dead on 35.
I push on but not that much.
Great car and if you are getting mid forties average then you are missing out on that box and engine at its best IMO.
