I've got the XDrive30D. It's an ex-demo 63 plate and after a month and 1000 miles, it's averaging 32.4mpg (according to the trip).
I'm mainly driving it in eco mode with the stop start activated...it dulls down the throttle response a bit but is fine for standard town/day to day driving. Up to 75mph it seems to be reasonably economical on the motorway but then seems to drop off a bit at speeds over that.
It's quite a change/step up in vehicle from my old Volvo and so far, I have to say I'm really enjoying and liking it. I had my first chance to open it up on some cross country roads yesterday and it's plenty quick enough, although you do feel how wide it is! Lots of settings to play with when stuck on the M1 too.
