Still utterly crap.

I bought a decent window aerial for my E350 estate, one that you get a separate power cable that you plug into 12v switched and the reception with that was superb.

The Merc OEM dab aerial is terrible for picking up noise, make sure you don't have any chargers plugged in anywhere, usb ciggy chargers, dash cam chargers etc. etc. They all knock the signal out.
