I fail to see how any could be a typo so that is a good spot. What is strange is the price for the lower mileage car is less and it seems quite cheap for a rare B5.
Noticed that myself. It was an Alpina owner/enthusiast I know that had spotted it originally, just thought I'd share here where potential buyers may frequent.
All the fraud etc stuff to one side: it looked like a great car at 205k, brilliant condition & well looked after, with plenty more life in it. Giving it a haircut really is poor form, leave it as is to demonstrate how mileage really doen't need to be a factor.
This went through British Car Auctions very recently, remember looking at it online and thinking it looked great for 205k. They would probably have records of the mileage at which it was sold?
I purchased this vehicle on the 11th June this year, for 6k with 207k on the clock and sent it to auction via BCA they will hold records of its mileage so it certainty looks like its been clocked.
Just to tidy up this thread and put things straight. It would appear that it was indeed a typo as some one has bought the car and confirmed on ther Alpina register that it has 206k on the clock.
