There is less than a second 0-60 between the 325 & 320d
We all know diesels have moved on over the last few years - the 550D M sport is 0-60 within a 10th as quick as my M5. However diesels deliver in a different way, they can run out of puff but on the whole....
We know they're pretty good (ask Audi or anyone at Le Mans) My old '07 535D was a fecking brilliant car, a car that was quick 0-60, would go past 155mph and return 35-40mpg fully loaded.
Those who dismiss diesels are doing do out of their preference for petrol.....simples.

I reckon it's jealousy . Anyone can buy a petrol , chuck a loud exhaust on it to sound better . Doesn't matter if the 3 litre petrol is quicker ,I will be waving while they have stopped at the petrol station twice while I am still on the same tank of fuel lolWe all know diesels have moved on over the last few years - the 550D M sport is 0-60 within a 10th as quick as my M5. I wouldn't buy it without driving it simply because it's a really terribly suited engine to that car. The last thing you want in a drop top is a noisy 2 litre diesel. You obviously don't care about running costs - a set of tyres on those bling wheels is a grand - so why ruin a convertible with an engine like that?
£1K for tyres lolWhere do you get ripped of for yours?
Got some 4 weeks ago
Goodyear Eagle F1 255/30/19 £152
Goodyear Eagle F1 235/35/19 £115
£534
You can get midrange tyres for about £440
That ain't a grand

funny, i'm sure it not jealousy i feel when i see the diesel versions of my car as i serenely pass them, i think it's pity.Oh, and regardless of which car of yours you might be in, as I waft past you in my M5 I'll definitely feel sorry for you
