Not really apart from the fuel, servicing they both had the service pack, insurance the same, tyres not too much in it be that price or how long they last.

I've 25k on my current set and there is life left in them you must have driven your m5 pretty hard everywhere.
25k with some life left is superb - makes you wonder how some PH have say Clio sports and tyres are gone in 5k miles...

Plenty of owners of things like M3's, M5's, C63 Mercs, etc, say they get less than 10k out of a set of rears; all depends on how and where you drive IMO. A daily driver that spends a lot of its time on a motorway is bound to make its tyres last longer than something that's given the beans regularly and often on a twisty A or B-road; in saying that I do agree that over 25k miles from a set of rears on an M5 is good going so fair play to Wills2 on that one!

I'd like to see what most F10 owners are getting.

I mentioned before that I got over 14k out of the Super Sports on my e39 and that's pretty good.

No I didn't drive it especially hard. It was my every day driver used for work and pleasure. The front tyres always went first apparently as they carried the weight of the engine and did the steering.

Mines a daily but the majority of the work is on the motorway driving south on a Monday, the fronts are pretty much the same as the rears about 3.5mm all round, I'll change them in the new year.

I've no idea how you could rip through a set of PSS so quickly without driving it hard, even PS2's would last 15k on my old M3s.

I had a 2013 330d and felt it was more responsive than my 335d but it's deceptive the 335d mine is 9k miles now is so smooth so compliment you Just don't get that feeling it's quick, sure there is a bit of lag but put it in sport mode and manual gear change and it's a licence looser. Have the M active suspension the whole car is very impressive after all 1/2 a second slower than an M3 it just gets there in a different way. It's a superb everyday car that even my old 996 Porsche's would not take, it's quicker than my old booster 981 it's just a very refined car.

Dual turbo cars can feel different, I rem being stupid and saying a similar thing with my porsche turbo s , you just need to keep them spinning .

'Lag' or boost threshold should be less on 335d twin turbo than 330d single as there is one large and one small.
