F30 335D delivery dates slipping

Ha Ha. They do look good, and i'm not enough of a driving god to worry about how much more effective they are.
I was changing the wheels over to winter ones at the weekend so cleaned up the calipers and hubs and waxed them up. I did think to myself that the front discs are huge - they look roughly the same size as those on my old C63 AMG. I was also I pressed to see the brake cooling ducts coming in from the front bumper, same as the Mini. Mercedes never designed this in to the C63 and the brakes regularly cooked on track.S

My car is due end of this month, fingers crossed (428i Gran Coupe).
I was given the option of losing the M Sport brakes, but didn't feel it was right to have to compromise when paying so much money.
Dealer has agreed a loan car to cover the (hopefully small period) between my Merc going back, and picking up the new one.
I'm a bit excited...
Good choice, i've got the same coming but haven't been told any confirmed date yet. It went from week 39 to 49 because of the brake issue as well as choosing the golden brown Merino leather. Still not seen many on the road, what colour have you ordered?I was given the option of losing the M Sport brakes, but didn't feel it was right to have to compromise when paying so much money.

how long does it take to get to dealer as mine was finished built two weeks ago but still no sign
Mine was pretty quick. Went to "confirmed by production control" (i.e. about to be built") on 10 October, "departed plant" on 16 October, was "at sea" on 25 October, and collected from the dealer on 30 October. So 2 weeks exactly from leaving the plant to collecting the keys.

Having sworn i'd never buy another black car (due to how hard they are to keep clean), i've gone for carbon black. I was tempted by Estoril Blue, but the wife said it was too cool for me!Mine was originally supposed to be ready for early October, but my current car doesn't go back till the end of this month, so I could afford to wait for the funky brakes.

That will look really nice, better than Estoril in my opinion. I've gone for mineral grey, so a bit of a compromise on easy maintenance but classy colour! I've also gone for piano black interior inserts with brushed steel trim. Just wish I could see it now!Mine was originally supposed to be ready for early October, but my current car doesn't go back till the end of this month, so I could afford to wait for the funky brakes.

I nearly went for 435i but just seemed so much more money for not a lot extra. Having not driven one at all, I'm hoping it will good!
Keep us posted and any pics would be great! Good luck and enjoy it!

I test drove a 420d X Drive Gran Coupe, which, not surprisingly felt a bit soft with only 184bhp and no M Sport suspension (the X drives don't get it, even on M Sport models). I also drove a 428i coupe to get a feel for the 28i engine. I was really impressed, it didn't feel like a little 4 pot and seemed to seemed to deliver the power very smoothly across the rev range, hence, like you, I didn't feel the extra dosh for the 35i could be justified.I nearly went for 435i but just seemed so much more money for not a lot extra. Hi everyone. Just a quick thanks to all who posted on this thread- it gave me information quicker than my dealer could.
I ordered a 335d xdrive in Estoril Blue with the Performance bodykit in the 3rd week of August with initial delivery estimated to be end of september. This rapidly slipped to possibly december within 2 weeks. I was offered the option of deleting the problematic m-brakes but stuck with it and now have been informed it will be ready about mid to late November.
Interesting. I have a 330d GT Xdrive M Sport Plus (longest name for a car ever) on order and was told a few days ago that although it was expected in the deal this week, it's now expected in December. Hopefully mine will move forward too based on your news. Mine was ordered August 7th. Not sure if mine will be on the same line as yours though.I ordered a 335d xdrive in Estoril Blue with the Performance bodykit in the 3rd week of August with initial delivery estimated to be end of september. Currently running around in a company loan car - 116d, which while fairly slow, isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
ok mine's gone from pre-assemble to on the ship in the last four days!!! I think the BMW status is lagging well behind reality. Last build date was week 46 with a delivery date in week 49.
The dealer did say it would probably come forward. Pity it couldn't of been delivered two weeksago, since I had to hire a car for two days to trailer my car to the garage

The people over at F30post are seeing the same thing so I hope mine is closer than they think. I've got one of those lease deals so I'm working via the broker so it's hard to get specific updates. My 428i gran Coupe has gone from week 38, to 48 and now to 52! If it carries on at this rate, I'll be saving it to be on a 15 plate!
Not that bothered really though, not really the sort of weather to be enjoying a new car in anyway.
Opposite for me - I need the xdrive for winter! However, yours will probably have some minor updates as a bonus. Not that bothered really though, not really the sort of weather to be enjoying a new car in anyway.
