F30 335D delivery dates slipping
Discussion
OK decided to collect and pay for the F30 outright to avoid the extra £250 and £4600+ of interest payments!
Wow! adaptive and 35/40 profile tyres transform the handling - i'm actually getting some feel and feedback. The F34 was good but tended to wallow and understeer if really pushed. Steering was definitely well isolated in comparison.
Anyway here is a picture of the those damn M brakes (part way through putting 18" winters on!)

Looking good, glad yours has arrived, mine still hasn't! No news since being told week 52 so we'll see. Im not sure if the merino leather has added the extra time, but I was so underwhelmed with the Dakar in my 3 series and have always fancied tan!Enjoy it!

Through a broker. He assures me the deal will be honoured but it does mean getting meaningful updates is next to impossible.
I am waiting for the same car and the broker can't give me an accurate delivery date other than "planned for end of Dec". They also can't get me a VIN which suggests to me the car may not even be in production... Frustrating.AddledDad said:

Probably the same broker - G2L?Apparently the cars are coming through BMW Swindon. I've told them I'll go to pick it up from the dealer rather than waiting a week for their delivery, which could well take things into the new year if the cars arrive just before Xmas. They thought that this would be OK.
What's annoying is that cars ordered after mine were delivered a few weeks ago, so just blaming it on M-Sport brakes sounds like its not the whole picture. I wonder if the dealer held on to the orders until the slot was complete and then made a single batch order. All guess work on my part obvs.

Were the cars that have already been delivered the 330d's or the 320d's that were also on offer at the same time over the summer?

Sorry, I meant just other 3/4 series cars that had the M Sport + Pack specced. Maybe the GT has additional delays. Having to guess is getting boring though. Matt80M said:

Agreed - muchos dull... Let me know if you hear anything further from G2L/BMW Swindon and I will do the same. Am really hoping for delivery by the end of December.AddledDad said:

I tried to order one in August but missed out as the allocation had gone, they were then re-advertised at the same rates (iirc) in Oct so I assumed there had been a few canx orders.
Mine is mineral grey with black dakota leather and i'm very impressed so far - to my mind it looks great with the 19's and privacy glass etc.
Out of interest my car came from Knights BMW in Stoke and I've got to say that i can't fault G2L, but can understand the frustrations of those who ordered getting on for 5 months ago and still have no car.

Just kidding. Stick up some pics of it. I'm yet to see one in Mineral Grey with the M Sport Plus pack.
