Story goes. Back in the day my dad had a 1988 BMW 3-series saloon, really nice car, apparently the best motor he's ever owned! Had the reg plate F50MLC, and was a black 320i with some nice M-Sport goodies... I'm sure the car's still kicking about somewhere as it still shows up on't internet searches, but is probably off the road as the DVLA report report says it was last taxed in 2007 and doesn't have a current MOT. Holds some sentimental value though, faithfully taking my dad to his wedding, and then subsequently on my parent's honeymoon and on many later trips across France, only to be sold when I was born in '95! My question is that with it holding a fair amount of sentimental value, and with t'father soon due to retire it'd be nice to track the motor down and see if I can reunite my dad with his old 'best car'... Figured of all the places to find someone who may know, here was the best place to start!

Cheers,
Dom

Half decent chance it's been converted into a race car for Proddy BMW or Pre-93 Touring car racing. Might be a great epitaph to a loved car, even better if it's won a race or two.

It's showing as unlicensed on the DVLA rather than SORN. Unfortunately that usually means it's been dismantled rather being kept off the road.

E30's rust from the inside out - a nice looking car can require thousands of pounds of bodywork and they're often worth a lot more in parts than as a whole - especially if they're a non 325i with desirable MTEC/Sport extras.

Shame as good spec ones are getting thin on the ground.
