Help with F30 business sat nav!

Hi Guys,

I have a 2014 320d touring with business media (navigation)

It does not seem to have the distance to turn countdown type display as found in this image:



It has done it a few times since i've had the car so I know it works but not every time i've used the nav.

I don't know if I have the display in the wrong zoom setting or something? Or does the nav just not work like that all the time?

Any ideas?

I take it you don't have Head Up Display as that moves this info from the screen to the HUD? That shouldn't happen on an intermittent basis though.

My sons 2012 e92 with business nav has the arrows. I think you turn it on in the map settings by pushing the knob to the right and ticking one of the boxes. Definitely works.

No not got the HUD. There is an arrow view option in the view section but this just changes the whole screen to arrow view rather than perspective/2d birds eye view?

Sorted - it was me being a dumbass and not having 'arrow view in map' selected in the additional options under 'view' menu!
