As others have said I really don't see the issue in £200 + VAT for an oil service, not sure how much less you want them to charge you?

Why don't you just do it yourself?

I know that's for E46, but that's not going to make any difference to the work.

Yep that's more like what I think would be an acceptable price.

Value servicing is a BMW UK initiative and probably supported centrally, I'm all for getting a deal but £250 every 15-20k miles isn't expensive.
