The other day i went to overtake a crane on a bend where I could see no one was coming and my car slid out from the back! First ever RWD experience like that and I was quite impressed how I controled it by backing off and countersteering without thinking about it!
Check your tyres !It is not easy to get a 330 sport to slide, particularly one which is not running right.

I thought all 330Ci's had some sort of traction control too?
So I am thinking of getting another 330ci Coupe, but this time I want the 6 speed manual and much lower mileage and generally a nicer car. BUT I don't want to spend too much on the car purchase really. Say £7k maximum. Do-able? Have prices changed much?
Some of the cars on the Autotrader are the same as were on when I bought the last one! Which suggests they might be dogs. Otherwise they would have sold surely?
Some company called Odavis seems to go through 5-6 a month and they get sold instantly....what is the catch?
Bumping old thread as it is still relevent. Thanks

Possibly dogs, to remain that long. I agree.
I noticed OD before, but have no knowledge of them.
However, BMW main dealers are not so keen to retail E46s they get as part ex's anymore so cars go to auction/trade, maybe if OD have as many as you say, this is a source. Which means they can cherry pick some nice examples.

'02 330ci manual 74k FSH (allegedly) £4,450, bit expensive imo but well under your budget

I have a face-lift (2003) model and am shocked at the high asking price for that one!
